Cross-Border Energy Interconnections in the Mediterranean Region

Mediterranean Energy Talks (MEETs) is a new series of events promoted by WEC Italy and OMEC to shine a spotlight on the strategic role of energy in the Mediterranean and its growing connection with technology and trade.

Titled “Cross-Border Energy Interconnections in the Mediterranean Region”, the second MEETs webinar, held on June 27th, 2025, brought together policymakers, regulators, and infrastructure operators to explore how diversified energy infrastructures—spanning electricity, hydrogen, and low-carbon carriers—can foster greater integration, resilience, and sustainability across the Mediterranean.
