Atlantic Council and WEC Italy together for the official Planet Week side event
In the context of the Planet Week that accompanies the Italian-led G7 for Environment, Energy and Climate, WEC Italy has been the pleasure to collaborate with the Global Energy Center of the Atlantic Council together with the Politecnico di Torino, for the official side event "Summit on the Future of Energy"
The meeting hosted in Turin at the majestic Valentino Castle the last 28 of April, has been attended by high-profile internation guest, including Fatih Birol (IEA Executive Director), David Turk (Deputy Secretary of the US Department of Energy), toegether with high institutional representatives and CEOs of leading Italian energy companies.
Among the topics discussed in the debates: Navigating Transatlantic Energy and Climate Security: Cohesive Strategies amid Geopolitical Tensions; Financing a Clean Energy Future: Building Sustainable Economies and Bridging Global Divides; Future of Fuel: Exploring the Evolution of Fuel Technologies; Future of Power: Innovation in a Changing World.
The event was preceded by a dinner-debate promoted by the Atlantic Council and Edison with the participation of the Italian Minister Pichetto Fratin.
